more quilts

Hello I just wanted to say I have three more quilts that I am doing at this time and two is still waiting to be sewn. I am planning on having all different types done for xmas so this is why I am doing what I can do together at the same time. These are sewn basically by hand unless I see I am running out of time to do what I can do as I am needing them done.

    I wish I knew how to quilt and even if I did, I don't think I would have the time for it. I'll bet it is very time consuming. My boyfriend has a quilt that his mom made for him many years ago. It is made out of patches from all different kinds of jeans and the backing looks like a red bandana. I just love it! I keep telling him that I'm going to take it home with me. All he says to that is if it is ever missing, he will know exactly where to look.

    Hey Debra, I was trying to make a crown royal quilt... I got a whole bunch of the bags from the ABC store and then sewed them together (by hand like a dummy...). It came out but it sure doesn't look pretty (it's not the ugliest thing but I really can't give mine away as a gift). I think that it is really cool that you are that talented that you can give your quilts as gifts. I have one that my grandmother made me when I was a baby and I cherish it to this day! Good luck. Sounds like you are on a role!!
